This will be my last post for a while, I expect.
This coming week see's me being taken into the North Manchester General Hospital (NMGH).
The operation is at this time to my knowledge, on my liver (50% removal), my colon and possibly other bits and pieces if once they open me up are feasible to remove.
It has been a bit of a journey since last May, the chemotherapy, numerous test's be it CT, MRI or PET scans. The latest treatment being 4 days of radiotherapy, OH! and lets not forget the colonoscopies.
The only real side effects are feeling tired at times and having numb hands and feet. I cannot complain, some people get a lot worse.
At the moment the plan is to have the operation at the NMGH then to move me to The Alexandra, in Cheadle. http://www.bmihealthcare.co.uk/alexandra for recuperation.
I am still a bit nervous about the operation but have been given some excellent advice from a couple of people that I really see the logic in, cheers all.
Back soon.
