Since my last entry, my life has really been on hold. Waiting for the anti biotic to work and beat off the infection.
Home visits have been allowed but returning to my room in isolation on the ward each evening.
All the usual observations have been taken and samples taken from my drain site to send off to the laboratory, to show what progress is being made.
Returning to the ward last night from a nice day at home in the sunshine and eating good food. I was informed by a senior nurse, that the surgical team had visited me with some news. She was happy to pass on the information to me, it appears that my virus has cleared up, nothing showing from the latest tests.
The surgical team what me to stay on the ward but to be allowed out on day release. This will allow me to be monitored in case the infection starts to return and if the infection returns can be caught very early and treated. They forecast that by Friday they should have a better idea, although I suspect a realistic release date would be early next week, given the infection does not return.
Sporting wise. The F1 is wide open so far after 2 races, which is excellent. Manchester United top by 3 points is good, long may it continue. Both Manchester teams top of the football premiership. All good.
Hopefully, if all goes well, it will be on the cards for us to visit Spain soon. We will be taking Holly our pet dog with us. I wonder how she will cope with the heat.
Holly, is a different dog from a year ago, a lot better behaved. Very calm and quite obedient, well she is for me, runs rings around Norma. LOL.

Desde mi última entrada, mi vida ha estado en espera. Esperando el bióticocontra de trabajar y vencer a la infección.
Las visitas domiciliarias se han permitido, pero regresar a mi habitación en aislamiento en la sala cada noche.
Todas las observaciones habituales se han tomado y se tomaron muestras de mi sitio de drenaje para enviar al laboratorio, para mostrar lo que se está avanzando.
Volviendo a la sala de la última noche de un día agradable en su casa en el sol ycomer buena comida. Fui informado por una enfermera jefe, que el equipo quirúrgico me había visitado con algunas noticias. Ella estaba feliz de pasar la información a mí, parece que mi virus se ha aclarado, nada muestra de las últimas pruebas.
El equipo quirúrgico lo que me quede en la sala, pero que se le permitiera a cabo en régimen de semilibertad. Esto me permitirá realizar un seguimiento encaso de que la infección comienza a regresar y si le vuelve la infección se puede coger desde muy temprano y se trata. Se prevé que el viernes se debe tener una mejor idea, aunque sospecho que una fecha de lanzamiento realista sería la próxima semana, dado que la infección no vuelve.
Sporting sabio. La F1 está de par en par hasta ahora después de 2 carreras, lo cual es excelente. Manchester United arriba por 3 puntos es buena, siemprepuede continuar. Tanto el Manchester equipos de la parte superior de la jefatura del fútbol. Todo bien.
Esperemos que, si todo va bien, será en las tarjetas para nosotros para visitarEspaña pronto. Vamos a llevar nuestro perro mascota de Holly con nosotros. Me pregunto cómo va a lidiar con el calor.
Holly, es un perro diferente del de hace un año, mucho mejor se comportó. Muy tranquilo y obediente, totalmente, así que ella es para mí, le da vueltas a Norma.LOL.
