Qualfied 1st Aider

Well work needed some first aiders and chose me to be trained as one of them.

A trainer called Ian took us through the course and we had two assessors at the end of the four day course, it was quite hard work to be honest but I got through it and am now a qualified first aider, feel free to have a wound of collapse near me. What I do not know about CPR and the recovery position is second to none. this is the company that carried out the course. this was carried out from Monday to Thursday. We got homework as well.

Friday, Norma and I visited the Angel pub for a couple of drinks that was a pleasant change, not too much to drink as work again on Saturday early.

Today Sunday we had a bit of a run out, down to the canal at Boothstown and a little stroll then on to Pennington Flash for a cup of tea and watch the birds. Then home to become a couch potato.

Good result for Manchester United they are doing well in all competitions.

Lewis Hamilton has been honoured by the Manx Nation who have put him on a stamp.
