Qualfied 1st Aider

Well work needed some first aiders and chose me to be trained as one of them.

A trainer called Ian took us through the course and we had two assessors at the end of the four day course, it was quite hard work to be honest but I got through it and am now a qualified first aider, feel free to have a wound of collapse near me. What I do not know about CPR and the recovery position is second to none. http://www.aid-training.co.uk/ this is the company that carried out the course. this was carried out from Monday to Thursday. We got homework as well.

Friday, Norma and I visited the Angel pub for a couple of drinks that was a pleasant change, not too much to drink as work again on Saturday early. http://www.theangelmanchester.co.uk/

Today Sunday we had a bit of a run out, down to the canal at Boothstown and a little stroll then on to Pennington Flash for a cup of tea and watch the birds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennington_Flash_Country_Park Then home to become a couch potato.

Good result for Manchester United they are doing well in all competitions.

Lewis Hamilton has been honoured by the Manx Nation who have put him on a stamp. http://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/Manx-stamps-celebrate-Lewis-Hamilton39s.4882316.jp
