Christmas is coming fast

Day off today so a bit of catch up on the blog.

Manchester's Christmas lights are on and they came on with a blaze of glory, or in other words a firework display. this display was set off from on the top and around the Town Hall in the center of Manchester, I was working and viewed the display from the 19th floor of Arndale House while having a break, it was very good but one of the funny things was I was up so high I was looking down on the fireworks very unusual.

One of the nice things that Manchester has to offer in the run up to Christmas are the Special Markets that pop up, my personal favorite is the one in Albert Sq. Full of beer gardens and mulled wine add in a few German sausage and away you go.

Work is a lot more of a pleasure of late, although I have not seen a lot of my Team, I feel confident that things are shaping up well, we all seem to be working better and smarter. All I need is a bit more time with my People.

I have not had time to catch up with friends and family for a while and must call them, or if they are reading this call me.

Over the last few months I have not been at my best, I have had a few health problems nothing major viruses etc, I am hopeful that all is on the mend now. Norma we think has had her final test, one that had a camera being fed up her nose then down her throat, it sounded awful but in true Norma style she took it in her stride.

It is a nice crisp and clear day in Manchester today so I am off to make the most of it.
